Job Overview

By demonstrating strong communication skills and through motivation, this individual must be able to lead and direct the onsite team in the day to day operation of photography sales while they integrate with an energetic team to ensure that all provide the highest level of customer service at all times.


Responsibilities and Duties

Train, develop, motivate and lead the operational retail team on-site managing in line with company policy and procedure; liaising with the Site Manager for support if required.

  • Ensure that the site photography operation is fully staffed; producing and managing the employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Process stock orders to maintain stock levels while ensuring the accuracy of all media stock levels
  • Complete daily, nightly, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Verify all Cash Handling Procedures are executed and followed per company standards/PCI compliance.
  • Communicate readily and openly with employees ensuring they have appropriate levels of information in order to maximize their potential and that of the business; hold daily briefs with the teams.
  • Actively communicate and share business-related ideas with all Picsolve colleagues.
  • Implement appropriate and relevant operational policies and procedures which are specific to the site with the Site Manager.
  • Reach and maintain an appropriate level of competence with regard to the operation of the tills and photography operating systems; ensuring that all equipment is used correctly including print media.
  • Work with the Site Manager to set targets, including revenue targets and objectives.
  • Minimize the cost of sales by accurately managing stock, employee costs, and loss prevention.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to change including adjusting site operations on an ad hoc basis in response to business requirements and site circumstances.
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the external site management team and all Picsolve colleagues in order to maximize system operational time.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times with regard to time management and attendance leading by example, maintaining employee and company confidentiality, maintaining a high level of personal appearance and demonstrating a high degree of flexibility in order to meet business demands.
  • Attend and actively participate in regular management meetings providing all required information and documentation on time and in line with management requests.
  • Fill in for the Site Manager when required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service all the time, every time
  • Observe the company rules, policies and procedures applicable to all employees.
  • Cooperate readily, politely and amicably with other company personnel.
  • Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably requested.



  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field
  • Prefer 6 months of prior leadership experience
  • Retail/sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • You must be able to approach the guests and speak in the venue in order to secure a photo of the guest or to show and sell them a photo.
  • Must have the ability to work with money to operate the cash register.
  • Great customer service skill is a necessity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to train the staff
  • Helpful to have the knowledge of basic photography and camera settings
  • Computer knowledge including computer settings and device connection knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of networking, including router and wireless settings
  • Analytical mind and ability to analyze data to operate at top performance

    • Mystery Shopper Results 94% average score for the year
    • Minimizing the Cost of Sales
    • Managing labor hours to hit the target of labor vs. revenue for the site
    • Microsoft Suite knowledge required with the ability to complete basic Exel formats

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
  • The employee is required to reach with arms and hands in order to hold equipment and hand merchandise to the guests.
  • The employee must regularly lift, hold or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, hold or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift, hold or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

The work environment will be fast-paced at times or slow-paced at other times and you must be the ability to adjust to the pace.

  • The work environment will have a moderate noise level.
  • Depending on the location, you may be required to work either outdoors or indoors or both.
