Job Summary

  • Lead and direct the team on site in relation to photography sales and planning of day to day operations while delivering a high standard of customer service through motivation and communication skills.
  • Integrate with an energetic team who provide a high level of customer service at all times to our guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train, develop, motivate and lead the operational retail team on site managing all employee relations issues in line with company policy and procedure; liaising with the Site Manager for support if required.
  • Ensure that the site photography operation is fully staffed; producing and managing the employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels, adhering to relevant legislation.
  • Process stock orders to maintain stock levels while ensuring the accuracy of all media stock levels.
  • Communicate readily and openly with employees ensuring they have appropriate levels of information in order to maximize their potential and that of the business; hold daily briefs with the teams.
  • Actively communicate and share business-related ideas with all Picsolve colleagues.
  • Implement appropriate and relevant operational policies and procedures which are specific to the site with the Site Manager.
  • Reach and maintain an appropriate level of competence with regard to the operation of the tills and photography operating systems; ensuring that all equipment is used correctly including print media.
  • Work with the Assistant Site Manager/Site Manager to set targets, including revenue targets and objectives.
  • Minimize the cost of sales by accurately managing stock, employee costs, and loss prevention.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to change including adjusting site operations on an ad hoc basis in response to business requirements and site circumstances.
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the external site management team and all Picsolve colleagues in order to maximize system operational time.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times with regard to time management and attendance leading by example, maintaining employee and company confidentiality, maintaining a high level of personal appearance and demonstrating a high degree of flexibility in order to meet business demands.
  • Attend and actively participate in regular management meetings providing all required information and documentation on time and in line with management requests.
  • Fill in for the Assistant Manager as and when required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service all the time, every time!

  • Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably requested.

Delivery of financial targets including:

  • Hitting site SPH target
  • Mystery Shopper Results 94% average score for the year
  • Minimizing Cost of Sales
  • Managing labor hours to hit the target of labor ratio vs. revenue for the site
